Elena Holloway
Managing Director & Founder
Elena Holloway founded Astor International School in 2019, driven by a mission to provide affordable, high-quality education in Singapore.
As a mother of three, Elena struggled to find a school that aligned with her values—one that offered holistic learning, a welcoming environment, and active parental involvement in a child’s education.
Fueled by her passion for learning, she set out to create a school that fosters community, inclusivity, and student-centered learning.
Her eldest daughter, Sophia, became the school’s first student in 2019 and later graduated in June 2024.
With over 20 years of experience in business and finance, Elena’s entrepreneurial achievements have been widely recognized. In 2023, she was honored with the Singapore Entrepreneur 100 Award by the Association of Trade and Commerce Singapore for her outstanding contributions to the business community.
David Holloway
Commercial Director
David Holloway is the Commercial Director of Astor Consulting. David is a trained lawyer with undergraduate degrees in Economics and Law, an MBA, an MFA and a Master Coach Certificate.
After an extensive executive career as a legal, business development and human resources executive with companies such as BMG, Microsoft and AOL, David became a corporate coach and facilitator.
He has trained and coached senior corporate executives from companies such as Deloitte, HSBC, Nomura and Ogilvy in Australia, the United States and Asia in areas such as leadership, managerial skills and presentation skills.
A father of three, David is also experienced in the development of children. During his undergraduate years in Australia, David taught swimming and worked part time as a vacation camp leader with the NSW Department of Sport and Recreation and the NSW Academy of Sport. David supports the company in a range of areas, such as operations, human resources, strategy and contract management.
